I was one of the ushers at Mike's wedding to Ann. I am saddened that Mike's death was so premature. I leaned a couple of years ago of Ann's passing and tried to reach her sister and Mike and Ann's two sons but only learned that Virginia predeceased Ann and I was unable to locate their two sons.

Mike lived in the 700 block of Evergreen Drive in Lake park, we lived in the 600 block. Mike along with Russ Hampton were some of my first friends in Lake Park. We road our bikes all over Lake Park and played ball in the ball fields. Mike was always a quiet guy but he was interested in where you were born and lived prior to moving here.

Lost contact with Mike after High School. Rest in Peace  my friend.

Mike was a close friend in Jr. High and High School.   We had Home Room together with Mr. Dukes.  That is where we discovered we both had a passion for making drawings of nude women......  We were roomates at the Alcazar Hotel when the band had state trials in Miami.  A great guy, not soon forgotten.  R.I.P. Mike.....

I lived two doors west of David Owens, between Reba Parks and Neil Jackson.  MIke and some of us would listen to all the new songs really lliked Floyd Cramers Last Date.  We all had great times back then.  Still remember when Russ Hampton got killed while fishing, then short time after that his brother also got killed, what a tragedy.  I can still remember their mom walking down the street, a person completly changed so sad. We all lived during a great time.
