"Last night, my dad Roger Hart, went home to see Jesus after his battle with cancer. While we as a family are sad that he is gone and he will be so missed and forever loved- we are rejoicing that he is no longer in pain, no longer suffering and has been reunited with his wife Barbara and his son, (my brother) Christopher. He had a long fulfilled life and as a family we were happy to make sure his final wish of having a family reunion/celebration of life happen and that he was able to pass away at home with family around him. I love you daddy and I will miss you until I see you again ."

Roger was one of the good guys. While I was in the hospital at Palm Beach Gardens, Roger stopped by to see me. He offered a prayer for my well being which, I appreciated.
My sincere condolences to his family.

A good around person. I just had a follow up check up at the Hospital at Clark field in the Phillippines, I thought before catching my flight back to Viet Nam I would have breakfast at the NCO club while walking up the steps I ran into Roger he was heading home after being in Thailand, we had breakfast together and caught up each other with any news from Riviera. We remarked what a small world running into each other. Said our goodbyes and wish each other luck. I conversed with Roger on facebook and we often talked about our meeting. Rest in Peace Roger.
