Virginia Belton - Class Of 1967

Virginia Belton class of 1967 was listed in her sisters obit on the internet a few years ago. The obit said that Virginia predeceased her sister Ann Belton Wilcox, class of 1965. I was in the wedding of Michael (63) and Ann Wilcox along with Virginia. I do not know if Virginia ever married but I believe her name was listed as Virginia Belton in her sister's obit.

I remember Virginia very well. She was a high-spirited gal who loved life. Hyperactive. Don't know if it was genetic or otherwise. One of her best friends, Pam Reddick would be able to say more, but she is not on this site.
RIP Virginia.

I was at Anne's house seems like all the time so naturally Virginia and I were good friends also.I always tried to look after her like a little sister. I remember she and Pam were best friends and she loved David Suster probably more than he ever knew. Virginia and I hung out a lot together also because Anne was always too busy with Michael to go to dances and go have fun. I remember every boy instantly being head over heels crazy about Virginia, she was so beautiful and such a good person.

I just learned today that Virginia passed away many, many years ago and there was a comment on there about her high school sweetheart David Shuster who was my long time golf rival and friend at RBHS. David was an incredibly talented golfer and went to University of Houston, then the # 1 team in the country where he played for them 4 years and the stayed in Hiuston for his business ( insurance ) career. A number of years ago, I am thinking almost a decade David and I reconnected and I was supposed to go to Houston to play in a member-guest with him when he tragically died in a private plane accident. I never knew if he had children because I believe that Dad Francis, Mom Marge and his sister have all passed away before then. The incongruity of he and Virginia's early passing just kind of slapped me in the face today, they both did not deserve it. Their favorite parking place "Shu Gardens" on what is now PGA Blvd is where the Northwest library sits. May they both rest in peace.

Kim, I couldn't figure out how to edit this picture of Virginia and I but I think you will get an idea that we were posing with her surf board in front of the Amaryllis.Leslie
