Leslie Goin (Binder)

Leslie Jane Binder, age 71, of Marietta, Georgia passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2021. She was born on December 2, 1949.

She graduated in 1967, from Riviera Beach High School and then attended Palm Beach Junior College while working at Pratt and Whitney Aircraft.

In 1970 she received her “WIngs” and worked at Eastern Airlines as a flight attendant, where she made friends all over the world.

She loved playing tennis with her “Sibley Girls” and had a passion for helping ladies find the perfect gown at Hot Ticket. She also made time in her day to visit and talk with the residents at Sterling Estates Retirement Community.

She had a deep love for her family and her endless list of friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Mary Goin and her daughter Liza Binder. Her death is mourned by Dr. Jim Binder (spouse), Kathryn Gersmehl (daughter), Drew Gersmehl (son-in-law), Anna and Andrew Gersmehl (grandchildren), Sandy Binder and Jane Bennett (sisters-in-law), Kathy Carlson and Robin Dunbar (sisters), and her many adoring nieces and nephews. Finally, we cannot forget her faithful pal Nugget who walked with her daily in the forest.

The family will welcome guests as we celebrate her life from 12:00-1:30 pm on Friday, October 15, 2021 at The Atlanta Country Club in Marietta, GA.
