We are asking each class to contact members of their class. The more people, the better the party.

 

This is the 8^th Hornet Buzz Reunion since our first at St. Paul of the Cross on September 9, 1989 attended by approximately 800 graduates of RBHS classes of 1960 - 1970.  Since then your committee and volunteers have kept the BUZZ alive, thanks to your support. The future of Buzz events is largely dependent on your financial support and attendance.  There is no better time then now to contribute by making a donation and getting the word out.  The committee extends a heartfelt invite to alumni, teachers, and friends of the former RBHS.  The Buzz is a time to renew friendships, laugh, listen, dance, sing, and share memories of “The Good Ole’   Days”!!

Event attendance – Thru contributions the event is FREE.  Your Committee continues to seek individual and corporate sponsors.  Please register and encourage others to do so at http://www.rbhshornets.com/ .  If you cannot attend, consider a “in memory” donation to those that are no longer with us.  Let’s keep all our memories alive and make this the best ever Hornet Buzz.  

The dress code is casual and each class will have a section in the Ballroom.  Look for the sign.

What to expect – A banquet facility decorated in Hornet/Green & Gold decorum. Ideally located on PGA Blvd, an avenue most all of us saw constructed back in the day.  The Borland facility is modern & comfortable with covered garage parking and an outdoor area for smokers/talkers to escape from the 1960 – 70’s Rock and Roll tunes by our very own RICHIE MIRABILIO ('65) and band.  

Private plain clothes security will be present to discourage drinking and driving.  If anyone requires special and discreet assistance, seek out Gary McDaniel ('67).  If anyone has over indulged there is a crash room at the PGA Marriott with shuttle van service.  

Drink prices are the same as 2012.
Beer – $ 3.00 / Wine - $ 4.00 / Mixed - $ 5.00 / Soda - $ 1.00 / Water - $ 1.00

Food – What we serve is dependent on the contributions we receive.  In the 2012 we served finger food (veggies, chips, salsas, cheese and crackers) and purchased Camilli’s pizza to compliment dishes brought in by classmates.

Directions:

The Borland Center is located at 4885 PGA Blvd adjacent to The Midtown at the Gardens, about 1/4 mile west of Military Trail.

 

    •    From I-95: Go 1/4 mile west of Military Trail. Turn right at  the entrance just west of Chipotle Mexican Grill/Cantina Laredo.  The parking garage is ahead on your left.  Additional ground level parking is west of the parking garage.  The ballroom is located on the 2nd floor, just south of the parking garage.

 

    •    From Turnpike: Go 1-1/4 miles east on PGA. Pass two traffic signals (Central & Hickory/Shady Lakes) and make a left turn. The parking garage is ahead on your left.  Additional ground level parking is west of the parking garage.  The ballroom is located on the 2nd floor, just south of the parking garage.

Time: 7:00pm 'till 11:00pm No Charge, Casual Dress, Live Band* Fun - Food - Beverages Please, please, party responsibly, and, if you are driving, drive sober. Plan for a designated driver. Don't spoil your good time with a VERY expensive ticket, and, possibly a night in jail. * Please contact Richie Mirabilio rich@crdunn.net if you plan to play that evening.
