Passed away this week in an auto accident. She didn't join the class website. In memory:Joanne Marie Hurst, age 66, died Monday July 8, 2013 in Lafayette County. Memorial services will be Saturday, 10:00 AM July 13, 2013 at Hopewell Baptist Church. She lived most of her life in W. Palm Beach and moved to Greenville in 1997. She worked for Doctors Office and managed Christian School Store Uniform shops. She raised her children by herself and attended Fellowship B. C for many years. She loved to do crafts with people and children, and was a great gardener and loved her family especially her grandchildren were very special to her. She could cook real good and could cook anything. She is survived by her husband: Frank Hurst of Greenville: 1 son: Brad Becker (Kristina) of Austin, Texas; 2 daughters: Doreen Mendenhall (Randy) of Kansas City, MO, Laurie Ann Moses (Adam) of Rolesville, NC; 1 brother: Vernon Beck (Kathleen) of Boca Raton, Florida; 1 sister: Shirley Bushee (Jerry) of Madison, and 6 Grandchildren. Donatioins may be made to Phillipine Mission Fund, Hopewell or Fellowship Church.
