Tom was a nurturing father, mentor and companion to his beloved children Brett and Daníelle an example to all of us of the silent strength of devoted parenting.

Tom Dioguardi was my neighbor in North Palm Beach. He was a champion swimmer and truly a handsome young man. He was shy and did not date in high school, but I had the opportunity to see him with his two sons playing soccer at a field in Jupiter. He seemed happy with his family and job as a teacher. i was shocked when he died so young. I understand his name is engraved at the University of Florida Sports Hall of Fame for his swimming accomplishments.
