Charlotte Carpenter Darville

Riviera Beach - Charlotte Carpenter Darville, 74, a long time resident of Riviera Beach, Fl passed away Feb. 22, 2022. She was born on Aug. 1, 1947 to her late parents Ray and Sally Carpenter in Lexington, KY.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years William Richard Darville, son William Richard "Rick" Jr and grandson Noah, many sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Kimberly Rae Rape whose life was tragically taken by a drunk driver. Charlotte soon found herself on the Victim Impact Panel of M.A.D.D. For the last 21 years she would simply tell her story of how her life and the lives of her family was affected by the crash that day. She raised awareness and impacted the lives of many and prevented future offenses.

A Celebration of Life is pending. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to M.A.D.D.
