Michael L. Munro Obituary June 14, 2025

Michael Munro, 78, of Boynton Beach, Florida passed away on June 14, 2025.

Born June 20, 1946 in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania before moving to Florida at 10 years old. Michael dedicated 30 years to the City of Boynton Beach where we worked in various roles to include IT and the Police Department.

Michael was a baseball coach for his children for years before discovering his passion for umpiring. He umpired both baseball and softball for Little League as well as at the High School level. Michael also shared a passion for bass fishing and deer hunting.

Michael is survived by his loving wife, Mary Rose of 44 years; two children Michael II and Christopher; three grandchildren Reagan, Wyatt, and Ryker; and sister JoAnn.

A service in memory of Michael will be held on Friday June 20 at 2:00pm at Scobee-Combs-Bowden Funeral Home, 599 N.E. 15th Avenue, Boynton Beach, Florida. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Michael Munro to Trustbridge Hospice.
