Tim Mafera, a longtime resident of Jupiter, Fl., went to heaven on March 22, 2025 leaving behind his wife, Caren, his daughter, Melissa (Andrew), his mother, Ramona, his brothers, Fred (Ann), Jeff (Nancy), and Chris, step-son, Josh (Felicia), his grandchildren, Sia and JJ, many cousins, and many, many friends. Tim was born in Stoneham Mass. and moved to Florida when he was 6. He attended Riviera Beach Elementary School, Howell L. Watkins Junior High School, and Riviera Beach High School, graduating in 1967. Tim was co-owner with his brother, Fred, of American-Palm Beach Garage Door Corp., a company founded by his father, Warren, in 1960. He spent six years in the Army Reserves and was a true patriot. He loved the Loxahatchee River lifestyle, spending his afternoons in the river behind his house, and his nights on his dock watching the sunsets. He had an infectious smile, was witty, kind, and was famous for his one-liners. He loved baseball, boating, fishing, snow skiing, and golf. He had many pets over the years, and he leaves behind his dog, Bentley, and his cat, Mr. Mitts.
