I met Ron when he transferred to RBHS from Cardinal Newman at the beginning of our senior year in homeroom. He and another transfer student, Bob Sariti and Brad Bond (deceased 10/7/2018), all class of '66 shared a passion for music and were 3 of the members of the 8h Day, along with Ron's brother Tom, which played in the area for many years. I lost contract with Ron in the early 80's. I was very saddened when I heard about Ron's early onset dementia and now by his way too early passing. RIP Ron   (Bob Root)
