James Paul Carroll, 80 of Drexel Hill, PA passed away peacefully Tuesday September 24, 2024 at Wilmington Hospital in Wilmington, DE. 

He was the husband of Germaine N. Carroll. 

Born August 30, 1944 in West Palm Beach, FL he was the son of Sinclair and Izola Carroll. 

James grew up in North Palm Beach FL and graduated from Riviera Beach High School. 

He served in the US Army; stationed on the DMZ in Korea in 1968 and 1969. He worked for Eastern Prestressed Concrete Corp. for 25 years and then as President of Carroll Construction and Consulting until his retirement in 2020. 

He enjoyed fishing, golf and spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

In addition to his wife Germaine, James is survived by his son, Parker Carroll (Mary), his daughter, Devon Johnson, as well as nine grandchildren and three great- grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his daughter Stacey Carroll. 

Services and Interment will be private. 

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
