Beverly Duberg (VanGilder) (1963)

Sandy: It's been more than 5 years since you've been gone. We were all so close in high school. And as the years go by, I think a lot of us are remembering those days more frequently. So you've been on my mind, along with all the memories we made, the friendships we forged, many which have lasted the past 51 years. I will always remember picking you up for school in my blue comet, with Tim, Paul, & Marilyn in tow. We're you part of the conspiracy the day my purse mysteriously was removed from the car & placed on the side of the road @ a traffic light? And the school bus behind us witnessed this mischief & flagged us down to return it. Thank God. I'm sure it was one of the guys that instigated that little joke.  I also seem to remember not really stopping for the stop sign across from your house one day & getting rammed  by car in the intersection. Was that when your Mom decided she didn't  want you riding to school with me anymore??,  Then of course Steve,& I broke ,up right before the junior prom because he fell for you. He denies that's the reason, but a girl knows these things. I mean how do,you get a date to the prom in a week? Luckily, my buddy Paul, came thru for me. Sandy, I'm glad we had a chance to see you & visit @ the 40th reunion. We were part of a very special group of friends & I realize more with each year how blessed we were. I wish you love & peaceful  journeys..     Dubie
