It was good to see those of you who came to the Buzz last night. I talked briefly with Karen Marcus about the next reunion. The past few reunions have been joint parties with Riviera and Gardens. Karen said that Gardens was planning theirs for the July 4th weekend 2010. They thought that the Friday night cocktail party could be combined, but they would have their own party for Saturday night. So... we need to consider what, where, and when we are going to have the Riviera reunion. We might have ours another weekend than July 4th and invite them to join us for one of our nights too. Many reunions that I've been too (mine and my wife's) have an free Friday night (cash bar) party without food and a Saturday party with dinner and dancing. Or we could have only a one night party with only munchies for food at very little expense other than renting the room. These are the type of decisions we need to make because rooms get booked up and a year in advance is typical to reserve one. I thought a meeting in mid to late July would be a good time for our committee. The Gardens folks may know by that time if they've decided for sure whether or not to have a combined event.
We can meet at the Jupiter Duffy's, some week night.  I don't think there will be much work to do now but we need to make the big decisions soon.
