Camilli's Pizza Posted Wednesday, April 24, 2013 03:48 AM A sad note of sorts...I saw where there founder, Ken Camilli recently passed. I fondly remember going there with my parents and then my wife. Camilli's was a staple on Park Avenue, The pizza was always the same, cut into squares and served on thin crust. It was the best pizza around. The last time I was there was when Bob Baird <Animal> and I came down for the 2009 Buzz. <No, we didn't gross anyone out with eating the way we used when we "Tom Jonesed" our food like we did at Royal Castle...we're "adults" now...> The pizza tasted the same as it did 40 years prior. Ken was a kind and decent man who will be missed by all who were touched by his generous nature. The family still runs the place and it will remain a fixture for many years to come. |

Camilli's Pizza Posted Wednesday, May 22, 2013 03:44 PM Two of the few things I miss about Palm Beach County was Camilli's Pizza and Deluca's Deli on US 1 by North Lake Blvd. Got a Ken's Special every Friday nite. Sausage, green peppers and onions.

Camilli's Pizza Posted Thursday, September 19, 2013 08:59 PM Played for Camilli's slow-pitch baseball team for 3 years in the '70s. We ate there after every game. Here's a pic with champonship trophy
