Robert "Bob" Jandreau, III - Class Of 1963

Family-Placed Funeral Notice

ROBERT L. (BOB) JANDREAU III Peacefully left this Earth to spend Eternity with our Heavenly Father on Saturday, March 11, 2006 after a 10 year valiant battle against cancer. Comforted by his wife, family, many friends, and his faith, he faced his illness with the same courage and determination he faced life. The world was blessed when Bob was born on January 2, 1943 in Lake Worth to Robert and Sarah (Register) Jandreau. Bob was a loyal, honest, brave, caring soul with an enormous sense of humor, an electrifying laugh, and an immeasurable acceptance of his life including its hardships which he resiliently confronted. This is an incredible loss to his family and his devotion to others will be dearly missed. Robert was the owner of Robert Jandreau & Son Marine Construction, Inc. for the past 26 years. Prior to that he was in partnership with Bill Lance DBA C.E. Hart Marine Construction, Inc. Bob spent over 50 years of his life involved with work on the water. He was a jack of all trades and had no fear of tackling any project with any kind of equipment. Bob could (and did) fix anything. Robert was a 26 year Master Mason, Garden Lodge #366, an Amara Shrine Noble, a Fraternal Order of Eagles #4018 Trustee, and a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #2010. He is survived by his dedicated, loving wife Becky; children Robert IV (Regina), Mt. Pleasant, TN, and Wendy (Todd) Lipani, High Springs, FL, their mother Carolyn Carpenter Jandreau, High Springs, FL, Anne Frances, West Palm Beach; mother Sarah Garber, Lake Park; brother Roy (Bonnie), Palm Beach Gardens; sister Patricia (Tim) Case, Lake Park; and grandchildren Robert V. (Justin), Mason, and Ashten. He is further survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and countless friends. (He is also survived by brand new, special great niece Morgan Jandreau). He was preceded in death by his father Robert Lawrence Jandreau, brother Norman, and stepfather John Garber. A Memorial Service will be held at Christ Fellowship Church (South Campus) on Sunday, March 19, 2006 at 2:00 PM followed immediately by a celebration of Robert's life in Pfeiffer Hall at the Loyal Order of Moose #2010, RCA Blvd., Palm Beach Gardens. Contributions to honor his memory may be sent to 7358 Coconut Blvd., West Palm Beach, FL 33412. “And so, Robert L, until we meet again, send us a Rainbow now and then and remember we love you. And if you can do any assisting, please help the Packers.” Special thanks to all of Robert's wonderful doctors and nurses for their quality, loving care over the years. You were truly appreciated.
