Gary's brother Tim contacted me on Facebook. I asked to 'say hello' to Gary for me. Tim regretted to inform me of Gary's passing. Gary and I became very good friends in 10th grade and the closeness lasted until about 1980 when growing up got in the way. Gary and I double dated at the Senior Prom. We sat in my car one night and had a heavy talk about life the weekend before he joined the Air Force. I was a member of the wedding party with he and Jeanie Alby. We started an amateur rock band together in 72. That was the best of times, John Flournoy was our singer then. Crazy fun and playing at parties, especially the 3 nights at the Jupiter Civic Center on the beach. Playing cards at Gary's house almost every Fri night, listening to albums for hours. Cocktails at Crown Lounge. Years later, Gary and I started golfing to keep in touch. Gary always had a way with words and was a natural salesman. His HS nick name was 'Stickman' being 6'5" and thin. RIP buddy.
