In Memory

John Ramsay - Class Of 1967 VIEW PROFILE

Dear 67 Hornets, It is with a very heavy heart, and overwhelming sadness that I must report to you that our Senior Class President and wonderful high school friend, John Ramsay, has passed away this day. He was residing in England with his wife of 15 years and was suffering from complications of skin cancer. I had the pleasure of connecting with him the last few years via email. I have those memories along with many more from our teenage years for my comfort.

Wow, such a loss.  I had lost track of him since he was in California.  Thanks for the update.

Sue thank you for sharing this news. If you remember it wasn't that long ago at one of the reunion meetings that we were talking about John and the fact he wasn't able to make the trip for the class reunion. It's a very sad day for sure. God's Speed John.

John represented the best of our class at RBHS and the best of those times. A lovable guy who was tough and funny and smart and a very talented artist. He was a friend to everyone. I will remember forever that mischievous smile. Here is to you John. Thanks for the memories. May you rest in peace.

What can I say about a cute young man who came into my life suddenly in our sophomore year?  It was love at first sight and for a year and a half after.  And, oh, the fun we had!  John was honest, funny, kind, and generous.   He was my first true love.  We lost touch completely after high school until the reunion he attended.  I had hoped he would be at the next one!  We will miss him.

I look at this photo of John and Liz's post and it brings back so many great memories.   I am so sad to learn of John's passing.  He was an incredible leader at such a young age. Rest In Peace our friend. We love you and celebrate the life you led.
