Brenda was born, raised, and went to schools in Riviera Beach. She met and married Ted Pitsios in Riviera Beach, too and that was 51 years ago. A lot of good things happened to her in Riviera Beach. The night of our project graduation in 1965 she and I left the gym with our blankets and pillow and walk from Riviera Beach High School to the Beach, heck we even slept on the beach that night. Oh for the good ole days. You see I know all this because Brenda was my cousin and my best friend growing up. I will always love her and will always miss her. Brenda Joy Stiles (Pelfrey) (1965)
Brenda and I met in 3 rd grade when I moved to Riviera Beach. We were best friends.
I would like to share a sweet story that happened on their wedding day. Ted was staying on Singer Island and the wedding was in Riviera Beach. What he didn't know was that the bridge goes up and that day it got stuck. He was an hour late for their wedding.
Brenda, Ted and I reconnected when we both lived in Alabama. She was a Great friend and a Godly women. I will miss her terribly.
