Oh boy!  The stories we could tell. Dick was a special guy. Rough around the edges, but with a heart of gold. I don’t know if there was anything he wouldn’t do to help a friend. Dick, his son Rick, and one or the other of my two boys spent a lot of time on the ocean. We even caught a few fish. Leading of course to a fish fry. And yes, there may have been a wee bit of drinking.  Rest In Peace my friend. It’s hard to believe it’s been fourteen years since you left us.

Dick and were friends from the 7th grade. We had paper routes together and when old enough had motor scooters. We remained friends till Graduation. We would see each other occassionally after that as he was busy raising his family. One of the few regrets I have is not seeming to have time to keep in contact with him.  Herb is correct when he said Dick had a heart of gold. Rest in Peace my friend.
