MONTANA, Gary Edward
Gary Edward Montana, 65 years old, of Juno Beach, FL, passed away peacefully at home under Hospice care on Thursday April 9, 2015 after a short battle with cancer and other complications. Gary was born in Elgin, IL and resided in Juno Beach, FL for over 50 years. Gary was creative and artistic. He was a skilled Dental Laboratory Technician in Palm Beach County for over 35 years. His passion outside of work included painting and drawing, building and flying radio controlled planes, as well as building and restoring vintage cars and boats. Gary's level of creativity was exceptional. Gary was preceded in death by his mother Lorraine Montana; his father Anthony Montana, and his brother Anthony Luis Montana "Tony". He is survived by his significant other, Leslie Meade; brother Rex Montana; Rex's wife Marcia and daughter Abby-Gail. He also leaves behind his sister-in-law Linda Montana; his nephews Ross Montana and Anthony Montana, Jr. and Anthony's spouse Michele. Gary was grand uncle to Delaney and Lyric Montana and Richard and Rachel Lyons and cousin to multiple Anderson cousins. A long list of family and close friends mourn Gary's departure. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 19, 2015 at Aycock-Riverside Funeral and Cremation Center, with visitation starting at 5 pm and memorial service at 7pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Gary Montana's name may be made to Hospice of Palm Beach County.
