Cheryl Rachesky Simmons passed away Thursday, February 27, 2020. Funeral services will be held on Sunday March 1, 2020 at Noon at Star of David Cemetery, 9321 Memorial Park Road, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33412.

She was born in West Palm Beach FL, daughter of Thelma and Herbert Rachesky. She was a graduate of Riviera Beach High School, 68’ and the University of Miami, 72’ where she received the honors of Phi Beta Kappa and was a member of Delta Phi Epsilon Sorority. She taught English at Suncoast High School and was an adjunct professor at Palm Beach State College. She also worked at LRP Publishing Co. as proof reader/editor.

Cheryl is survived by her loving husband, Ivan N. Simmons, her beloved daughter, Ashley B. Simmons and fiancé, Diego Urena, brothers Clark Rachesky and Alan Rachesky, sister-in-law, Lynn Chvotkin, brother-in-law Barry Simmons and the Schwack, Rachesky, Koslow families and friends.
